Built Around Community, Not Crowds
A lot of folks find Bahr’s when they’re looking for a place to spend the winter in Florida, and it tends to stick with them. We’re a small, resident-owned 55+ community here in Zephyrhills, with a mix of RV sites, furnished apartments, and a handful of long-term neighbors who help give the place its feel.
It’s not a big resort, and that’s kind of the point. Things stay simple, quiet, and easy to settle into. You’ve got what you need—a heated pool, a place to gather, and a steady rhythm of weekly activities if you want to join in. Some people stay to themselves, others jump right into the coffee hours, dinners, and card games. It finds its own pace.
We’re close enough to everything—Tampa, Orlando, shopping, restaurants—but far enough to feel like your own corner of Florida. Most people come down for the season, park for a while, and before long, they know a few names and start feeling at home.
